By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Specialized Security Corporation is a veteran-owned and operated company headquartered in Southern California. We provide live remote monitoring, access control technologies, two-way talk-down capabilities, and related physical security solutions for multifamily residential properties, commercial developments, and communities throughout the United States.

2. Website Use

2.1 Permitted Use

You may access and use specializedsecurity.ai for lawful purposes related to evaluating, inquiring about, or engaging our security services. You agree not to:

Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site or its underlying systems

3. Services

3.1 Service Agreements

The live remote monitoring, access control, facial recognition, license plate recognition, two-way communication, and related security services offered by Specialized Security are provided under separate written service agreements executed between Specialized Security and the contracting client (“Service Agreement”). These Terms apply to website use and general engagement; specific service terms, scope of work, pricing, and service-level commitments are governed by the applicable Service Agreement.

3.2 Free Security Assessment

Requests for a free security assessment submitted through this website do not constitute a binding agreement for services. Assessments are provided as a courtesy to prospective clients and do not obligate either party to enter into a service relationship.

3.3 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time, with reasonable notice to clients under active Service Agreements. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services except as expressly set forth in a fully executed Service Agreement.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients who engage Specialized Security for monitoring and security services agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and current information about their property and security needs
Ensure that required legal disclosures, signage, and notices are posted at monitored locations as required by applicable local, state, and federal law, including laws governing video surveillance, audio recording, facial recognition, and biometric data collection
Obtain all necessary consents, permits, and authorizations required to deploy and operate security systems on their property
Designate authorized personnel to receive alerts, incident reports, and communications from Specialized Security
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with their use of our services
Maintain the confidentiality of any access credentials or system login information provided by Specialized Security

Clients bear sole responsibility for ensuring that the deployment and operation of security systems on their properties complies with applicable law. Specialized Security shall not be liable for a client’s failure to meet these obligations.

5. Surveillance, Biometric Data, and Technology Use

Specialized Security’s monitoring services may employ technologies including, but not limited to, video surveillance, facial recognition, license plate recognition (LPR), two-way audio communication, and access control systems. Use of these technologies is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Clients are solely responsible for compliance with all laws governing the use of surveillance and biometric technologies at their properties, including but not limited to state biometric privacy laws, wiretapping and recording statutes, and local ordinances. Specialized Security operates these technologies on behalf of clients pursuant to the terms of the applicable Service Agreement and does not assume legal liability arising from the client’s failure to comply with applicable disclosure, consent, or regulatory requirements.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE WEBSITE AND ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT, AND MATERIALS AVAILABLE ON IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Security services provided under a Service Agreement are subject to the warranty terms expressly stated in that agreement. No warranty beyond what is expressly set forth in a fully executed Service Agreement shall be implied.

IMPORTANT: SPECIALIZED SECURITY IS NOT AN EMERGENCY RESPONSE AGENCY. Our monitoring services are designed to deter, detect, and communicate security concerns. We do not replace local law enforcement, fire, or emergency medical services. In any emergency, always contact 911 directly.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SPECIALIZED SECURITY CORPORATION, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE OR OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). CLAIMS ARISING UNDER A SEPARATE SERVICE AGREEMENT ARE GOVERNED BY THE LIABILITY TERMS IN THAT AGREEMENT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Specialized Security Corporation and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of this website or our services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your failure to obtain required consents or post required disclosures in connection with your deployment of security systems on your property.

9. Privacy

Your use of this website and our services is subject to our Privacy Policy, available at https://specializedsecurity.ai/privacy-policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our website or services, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or reference third-party products and services. These links are provided for convenience only. Specialized Security does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site or service. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and that third party.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of this website shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

For disputes arising under a Service Agreement, the dispute resolution provisions of that agreement shall control.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to this website at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11 — shall continue in full force and effect following any termination.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or applicable law. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of this website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any fully executed Service Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Specialized Security Corporation with respect to your use of this website and our services, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, and agreements, whether oral or written.
