Specialized Security Corporation was founded in 2002 when our founder, Dane Stordahl, recognized a critical gap in the property security industry. After 4 years in the United States Marine Coprs and 13 years in law enforcement, he saw firsthand how most security companies relied too heavily on technology alone—generating false alarms, missing genuine threats, and failing when human judgment was needed most.

The idea for Specialized Security emerged from recognizing the security gap between existing security companies and the techniques and technologies used by law enforcement agencies. Dane Stordahl holds remains actively involved in daily operations, personally overseeing major implementations and maintaining relationships with key clients.
